Inspiration Source Material: This is a reinterpretation of a model featured in Lockerroom, Issue 3, November 1978. For further reference and a little extra fun, photos of the source material are provided in the photo gallery :)
Each art piece is hand-printed on an analog printing press with oil-based inks on archival paper. The figure is created from a carved linocut ‘plate’ that is then printed multiple times, without re-inking. The process is called, “ghosting". The process results in a beautiful embossment of both the figures - I’ve included an image in the gallery as a visual reference.
**Each piece has some variation given the hand-printed nature of the work. Actual colors and image placement may vary slightly from the web photos. Small imperfections are a normal function of handprinted works — all work is sold as-is.
