Each piece is hand-printed on an analog printing press with oil-based inks on archival paper. The circle layers are printed first with a “rainbow roll” using a monotype plate. The linocut Cowboy is printed as a third layer as an overlay on top of the circles, in this case with light blue ink. The final layer is a gold, “Yes homo.” linocut overlay. The process creates a beautiful embossment of the lettering, the figure, and the circles.
