Each piece is hand-printed on an analog printing press with oil-based inks on archival paper. Three circle layers are printed first in order to create deep saturation and contrast with the black paper. The final circle is a “rainbow roll” done with a monotype plate. The linocut fist is then printed as an overlay to the circle. The process creates a beautiful embossment of both the fist, and the circle.
