Each piece is hand-printed on an analog printing press with oil-based inks on archival paper. The circle layer is printed first with a “rainbow roll” technique using a monotype plate. The first layer of the linocut cowboy is printed next to create a shadow effect, in this case with a red ink. The final layer is a black overlay. The process creates a shadow effect and a beautiful embossment of the figures, and the circle.
Each piece has some variation given the hand-printed nature of the work. Actual colors may vary slightly from the web photos. Small imperfections are a normal function of handprinted works — all work is sold as-is.
Artwork is sold as a loose print *without* a mat or frame.
