Each piece is hand-printed on an analog printing press with oil-based inks on archival paper. The circle layer is printed first with a “rainbow roll” technique using a monotype plate. The linocut figure is printed as an overlay on top of the circle, in this case with a dark navy blue ink. The final layer is the gold pup mask overlay. The process creates a beautiful embossment of lettering, figure, and shapes.
Each piece has some variation given the hand-printed nature of the work. Actual colors may vary slightly from the web photos. Small imperfections are a normal function of handprinted works — all work is sold as-is.
